I originally wanted this thesis to be an animatic but with the best voice actors already graduated, I made sure to find ways to break the panels and do things only possible in comics while still retaining interesting shot composition. I wonder if the dialogue on this page was ever needed at all. This is the last page due in an additional class and the professor was impressed with the composition, said he hasn't seen an angle done in the first three panels and how well integrated the foreground element is in the fourth panel.

Honestly, I just wanted to reuse as many backgrounds whenever possible to emphasize the acting, the closest to ever really doing an animatic. Throughout the entirety of this thesis spanning 30 pages, I've reused backgrounds on 15 separate occasions. There's page 15 that has just the one background (that even the professor hadn't noticed until I mentioned it) and there are pages 20 and 22 (I may upload those two together as one video) that uses the same background that I managed to keep as a two-page spread layout because of the specific panelling.

Everything was drawn in Adobe Photoshop, edited in Adobe Premiere and 3D models made in Autocad Maya.
