Zenith: Hide and Seek with Leveling?

I took quite a lengthy break from Zenith due to lack of content. I am going to revisit Zenith in a new series where I start out at the beginning of the game and adventure through to the end. What people will I meet along the way? How quick will I level? What changes have come about in Zenith The Last City?
