Rob Neyer has written numerous books, millions of words on ESPN, and countless interviews about baseball. He's also serves as the commissioner of the West Coast League.

MLB continues to evolve as teams work to find advantages in math, the gym and by improving the minor leagues. The league is working to improve the game to serve a modern audience. In between these two elements is the 100+ year legacy of a league that in many ways still resembles the game played in the 1800's.
