Faust Checho dives into the famous incident in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1961 when a Boeing B-52 Stratofortress carrying two 4 megaton MK39 nuclear bombs broke up in the air and dropped its nuclear payload on the unsuspecting city below.

Although the safety mechanisms failed and the bombs were armed, some kind of miracle prevented both bombs from detonating and erasing North Carolina from the map. Now if this really was an accident, just how careless was our government for this incident to even happen.
