G7 leaders pledge to support Ukraine ‘for as long as it takes’

Leaders of the Group of Seven industrial powers vowed to stand with Ukraine and continue to provide support following a virtual emergency meeting with Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy has asked the G7 allies to supply his troops with air defence capabilities to defend against Russian missile strikes.
