Broody hens and chicks are so precious to watch, that is why today I thought I would give you a glimpse of some live unedited footage of our Momma hens and their chicks! Watch how the Hen interacts with her 10 day old chicks and keeps a close watch on them. We have pure Partridge Chantecler chicks and our barnyard mix chicks of Buff Orpingtons, Wyandottes, and Barred Rocks. These Chicks were born "Oh Natural" here on our farmstead and we have interfered only to give them water and food once Momma hen left her nest box.
