The fear of not being attached to something is so powerful for the mind because only by being creating meaning does the mind feel fulfilled. Even if this leads inevitably to its own enslavement. Obviously, not the mind is getting enslaved, but those who would make use of the mind as such a tool. If as a spider you're getting stuck in your own web, doesn't that make you a stupid spider?
