Are black woman above correction and criticism

When I make a mistake, my father is quick to correct me. When I am wrong, he is quick to let me know. This has been typical in most of the households I have seen in the black community, but when a black woman makes a mistake, she often can't be corrected. Correction and criticism of a black woman's actions are considered taboo in many black households and talking about these issues is often considered a thought crime. This is a problem because it leads to black women who have not been corrected or criticized when they are wrong. This can lead to issues such as entitlement and narcissism. When I was a child, my father would often correct me when I made mistakes. When I made a mistake, he would explain to me what I did wrong and how it could have been avoided. This helped me to become more aware of my actions as well as helped me to correct them in the future.
