Making Skull Soap

I was gifted a soap shaper (I kept calling it a soap scraper in the video) from July at Winstonandwalter.ca. If you don't know already, she is a fan of all things horror. I have never used a soap shaper before and was super interested in the process. This video is longer than my typical videos, but I felt like I really needed to describe the process so that anyone who was interested in trying this technique would know what they should expect. Since this was my first time using a soap shaper, I didn't add any fragrance to my batter because I didn't want the fragrance to have any influence on how the batter behaved. This soap took a lot of planning and time. The embeds had to be made in advance and there was some math involved in figuring out the size of each layer in the soap. After all is said and done, I really love the way this soap turned out. I hope you do too.
