Polk County deputy killed while serving warrant laid to rest Tuesday

A 21-year-old Polk County deputy who was killed while serving a felony warrant last week was laid to rest on Tuesday in Lakeland. The memorial for Deputy Blane Lane started at Victory Church at 10 a.m. At 12 p.m., a private funeral procession with a law enforcement escort took him to his final resting place.
