Are Children's Imaginary Friends Actually Demons?

The stories of children having imaginary friends goes back thousands of years. Many times parents will play along and even encourage them which gives acknowledgment to these ‘invisible entities’, thus reinforcing the situation instead of fixing it.

This can be understood in the spiritual realm of demons that can affix themselves to children or objects, usually after a traumatic experience resulting in a convenient coping mechanism that presents itself to the child who is grasping for help.
