For many years we thought that Komodo Dragons use the bacteria found in their mouth to help take down their prey. Now we know that Its not the bacteria, but It's actually Venom that they use. Komodo Dragons are venomous and they are constantly using their venom on prey.

Komodo Dragons are Monitor Lizards. There are a lot of different types of Monitor Lizards species. There is the Nile Monitor, Black Throat Monitor, Grey's Monitor, Savannah Monitor, and many more. Monitor Lizards will eat just about anything they can catch, including Snails and Eggs.

These Lizards are known for the gruesome ways they catch their prey. They use their tongue to help locate their Prey. Some people actually have Monitor lizards as Pets.
