Tulsi Gabbord Leaves Demoncratic Party

The latest on Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. representative from Hawaii's 2nd congressional district. First elected in 2012, she is the first Hindu member of Congress. As a member of the armed services, Gabbard did multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Kuwait between 2004 and 2009. She has been married to Abraham Williams since 2015. She was an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.
