There is not enough fuel and the police themselves, so they have to push their cars manually.

In France, the fuel collapse is growing. Across the country, giant traffic jams and queues for gas stations.

To somehow remedy the situation, the police are now checking the fuel tanks of cars. If there is too much gasoline there, then the car is simply not allowed to go to the gas station.

There is not enough fuel and the police themselves, so they have to push their cars manually.

The crisis intensified due to strikes by local trade unions. They could not agree with the oilmen to raise wages. The situation is expected to continue to deteriorate. Almost two and a half thousand gas stations are already without fuel. Slightly more than a thousand are experiencing a partial shortage.

VIDEO: France24 reported Saturday that some motorists have been turned away in Arras as the nation struggles with fuel strikes spurring shortages. One clip shows a motorist arriving at a fueling station only to be told he could not fill up his tank.

“How much do you have sir?” one policeman appears to ask the motorist.

“I’m three-quarters full, I was hoping for—” the man responds, according to the video’s English subtitles.

“Three-quarters? Can’t be done,” the policeman says, cutting him off. “No, no.”
