Monday farm vlog; Fighting back against Mother Nature's fall food plot carnage. Is it too late now?

Yep, many of you know this story well! About 3 weeks ago I had a series of beautiful and lush fall food plots for deer with fantastic germination of the winter grains and also the fall brassica's. We got a nice rain the day after I planted the fall food plots and they literally exploded over the next few days. It was all good, and this hunting season was shaping up to be fantastic! Until.. Mother Nature turned off the rain!! My food plots, as well as everyone else's down here in Southern Illinois have been burned to a crisp with 4 weeks of sunshine and not a drop of rain in most areas. Join me today as I start to fight back against mother nature, even though it is way late in the game. In my defense I did try to start watering a couple of plots nearly 2 weeks ago, but I could not get my 3" trash pump going. After sitting a couple of years I think the carb was gummed up. So I took it in to the local shop, and they had me fixed up in a few days. A few VALUABLE days though.. So join me for today's Monday farm vlog as I try to pull off a 9th inning food plot miracle by using modern science. Several of my beautiful food plots are burned up bad. The clover is brown and down, the brassicas are completely gone, and even the winter grains are barely there. Join me in the field today for today's farm vlog and be sure to stay tuned in the coming days to follow along with this 9th inning miracle attempt to try to RE GROW a nice fall food plot! I don't know how my other plots are looking around the farm, but this one is the main one that is close enough to our big pond that I can water every day.
