Yahweh entered into a unilateral covenant with Abram regarding Abram's descendants and future ownership of Israeli territory. In much the same way Yahweh enters into a covenant relationship with us that we cannot break, no matter what. Is this eternal security? Not exactly. At the end of the message I clarify what perseverance of the saints is and what eternal security is not.
