Where would Russia use a nuclear weapon in Ukraine?

It is most likely that Russia would use a nuclear weapon when Ukraine tries to cross a river - specifically the Oskil. All river crossings create natural choke points and the destruction of bridging units create losses of equipment and talent that are difficult to replace.

Right now, the wind is blowing northeast, so if Russia decides to use a nuclear weapon, they are likely to wait until the wind is blowing to the southwest.

It is most likely that Russia deliver a nuclear weapon by air - most likely an SU-34 since any other delivery method increases the chances that a crew will refuse to follow orders.
