Making of Autumn Chai, Cold Process Soap

It's been a little while since I last posted a "Making Of..." video so I thought I should get back to it! I've been so busy with work and other soap-related things that editing videos just gets pushed farther down on my list of things to do.

But! Now we're here so here's the rundown on my latest Fall Themed soap. :)

I used my basic recipe: Avocado oil, castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil, Shea butter, and (oh! I ran out of tallow so I used...) Lard. I also included organic canned coconut milk, salt, sugar, ground oats, and kaolin clay.

My fragrance oil is Pumpkin Apple Butter from The Flaming Candle:

Oh! it does accelerate and discolor.

And, I used mica from Nurture Soap: Trail by Fire, Yellow Vibrance, Rise and Shine, My Red Obsession, Rapunzel, Sugar and Spice, and Gold Dust.
