All About Turtles

Turtles are one of the oldest reptiles in existence, and they are some of the most versatile animals alive today. They can live on land, as well as in water, so they help to ensure that both of those ecosystems remain healthy and balanced. Without them, ecosystems would suffer and die off because their presence prevents the formation of things like algae and other plant life that cause harm to both land and water environments. This makes turtles an essential part of any ecosystem on the planet, but there’s more to turtles than just helping to prevent an imbalance between land and water ecosystems.
