HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier departs for USA 07/09/2022 Portsmouth replacing HMSPOW 4K

HMS Queen Elizabeth departing Portsmouth this morning *07/09/2]22 at approx 10:00hr she exited the walls after turning 180 degrees.

She replaces HMS Prince of Wales which had technical issues soon after departure, (prop shafted join failure, as well as propeller damage and minor rudder damage.

she is already well past HMSPOW and where she broke down.

HMSPOW is being prepared to sail up to Scotland for dry Dock repairs, my guess will be a fair while up there
