resident evil 3 defeat the creature rooftop
In Resident Evil 3, Nemesis is a bit of a jerk. The huge kid constantly approaches you and
gives you strong punches because he thinks he's the best.
He's not really that horrible, and if you're having trouble dealing with this specific dentist's
delight, I have some helpful advice for you.
Please take note that this guide only mentions a few item locations for the Normal and
Hardcore settings. Higher difficulties and much stronger adversaries have been added to the
game.
Nemesis Downtown runs into advice & Tactics
Only in the Downtown area of the game do Dynamic Nemesis encounters occur, and
depending on how you proceed, you can restrict your exposure to them.
The second time you'll run across your on-rails enemy is when you're returning after
restarting the power after you get past the initial encounters. Your best bet here is to first
collect the lock pick from the corpse outside the Subway Power Substation, grab the bolt
cutters, and then do your backtracking cleanup first. If you complete this event too early,
Nemesis will be trapped chasing you as you run about cleaning up.
Only once your entire map has become blue should you enter to reset the power. This way,
all you have to do to return to Carlos and the group is set the train's course at the subway
office.
There are a few things to bear in mind before fighting him, which you should do several
times for the upgrades he drops:
1. Running away is useless since Nemesis may close the distance to you quickly by
either super jumping in front of you or running horribly fast. The best distance to
engage is a few feet back. Additionally, he occasionally loves to use his tentacles to
catch you and bring you back in if you try to flee. Such a git.
2. Nemesis likes to hurl haymakers like he's Mike Tyson, and boy can they hurt. So get
that dodge button ready. Here, the exact timing for Jill's dodge move is crucial
because it will fail otherwise.
3. Combination! - Nemesis will occasionally swing three times in a row, so even if you
manage to avoid the first blow, there's a chance the second and third will catch you.
You must pay close attention to his motions, and if you notice him taking another
swing right away, prepare to duck once more.
4. Watch out for his roar strike; it hurts if you get caught because you'll be briefly dazed
so he can swing in. The timing in this situation is hard, so keep your distance or, if
you're lucky, swerve out of the path.
5. The environment can be your ally. Use electricity boxes; they perform wonders
against Nemesis, just as they do against zombies.
6. Another one hit and down weapon is a grenade. Keep your grenades in reserve for
emergency situations.
7. Always aim for the head when you shoot if you want to do the most harm. Nemesis
can be killed with four or five headshots from a shotgun. You'll want to conserve as
much ammo as you can throughout your first few runs.
8. The G19, your starting handgun, can receive two upgrades from Nemesis early in the
game. The Extended Mag, which extends your clip to 33 rounds, and the Moderator,
which tightens spread and makes critical shots simpler. Fighting Nemesis is well
worth it to unlock these.
After visiting Carlos again in the subway
Soon after you reunite with Carlos, Nemesis will be chasing you once more.
This section is really simple. Just keep moving forward while avoiding his initial swings.
Then, spin around and blast the electricity box as soon as you pass it. This allows you to
move quickly to the back chamber and try to kick through the grate that will lead you to the
following location. Remember to only kick it once; before you know it, Nemesis will be back
on you.
When he approaches, you should utilise the red barrel in the back chamber, which you'll see,
to kill him. He will drop another container with more when he descends.
Fight at the rooftop demolition site using a flamethrower
At the beginning of this fight, your only option is to run up to the roof. You'll be forced to fight
him once you reach the summit.
He won't do anything at first in this combat other than move slowly while throwing flames in
your direction. While you can easily escape these from a distance, Nemesis will start to
move faster as he takes damage and will try to hit you with his flamethrower. Don't assume
you're out of the way, though; flames also shoot out at the end.
Shoot at the gasoline tank on his back to defeat him. Keep blasting it until it bursts, and he
will ultimately get extremely enraged and on fire a bad combination and charge at you. Avoid
being grabbed at all times and attack him with everything you've got until he drops because
if he does, you're in for some serious damage.
