How to Plant garlic

I harvested Garlic and Onions out of this grow bed in July. I left them on the soil in the sun to dry out a bit. I covered them when it rained. Today I cut the stalks off them and put them in cardboard boxes. We will use them in the kitchen over the next year. I started planting next years crop of garlic using some of this years crop as the seed. If you grow garlic like this you will never have to buy it again. That is how our forefathers lived.
