This week I have a full 35 min yin yoga class for you, to help you stretch & release any and all tension in your hips and low back. Use this practice to open tight hips or to create more ease in your lower back if you experience low back pain or sciatica. Have some blocks and a blanket close by to make it extra comfy. This class is beginner friendly, modify the poses as needed on any given day!

What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing and meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. It targets the deep connective tissues (bones, joints, fascia & ligaments) in the body. It also intends to stretch & stimulate different acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:
1. Find your edge
2. Be still
3. Hold the pose
