"Love Is Surrender" - The Carpenters

"Love is Surrender" was originally a Christian "pop" song written by Ralph Carmichael. Since this was a popular choir song back in the late Sixties and early Seventies, it is quite possible that Karen and Richard performed this song in college when they were members of the university choir at California State University, Long Beach. They changed the lyrics just a bit to make it more generic, but the anointing on this song is still felt.
