The Facts Inside Our Reporter’s Notebook Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis responded Friday to California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's call for the Justice Department to investigate DeSantis relocating migrants, saying Newsom's "hair gel is interfering with his brain." 
On Thursday, Newsom called on the department to investigate DeSantis a day earlier having flown migrants to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts and similar efforts by fellow GOP governors in recent weeks and months. 
"Clearly, transporting families, including children, across state lines under false pretenses is morally reprehensible, but it may also be illegal," Newsom said in a letter to the DOJ.
