2022 Melbourne Cup Order of Entry Update

Lew Dub takes a look at the latest Melbourne Cup Order of Entry. The latest update took place on 4th October, 2022 and saw Lunar Flare elevated to number 1 after winning the Ballot Exemption Race The Group 3 Bart Cummings (2500m). The 7 year old mare denied a number of Melbourne Cup hopefuls that were hoping to use the race to win their way into the 24 horse Melbourne Cup field. She will be the first Melbourne Cup runner for long time horse trainer Graham Begg.
