Flying the DJI Avata Drone. Practicing in an Obstacle Course & Branching Out With A New Green Screen

This is just a flying for fun video where I checked out the picnic / greenbelt area behind my HOA's buildings. Lots of trees and other obstacles to practice flying around or thru. Found some deer who decided they didn't like my noisy drone and bolted away, further into the greenbelt area when they detected it approaching.

This was my first attempt to fly a bit more aggressively in an area with obstacles abound. I did bump into a few tree limbs, but the Ribbed Rider bumper guards from @OriginaldoBo worked as designed. The Avata drone never actually crashed to the ground after any of these incidents. Towards the end, a green leaf decided to hitch a ride and covered up the camera so that I couldn't see thru it any longer. I just took the goggles off, put my glasses back on, and visually guided the drone back to me. Those neon yellow bumper guards really made it easy to spot this (otherwise) very dark colored drone.

I will be returning to this area for more practice, but won't bother to upload the footage each time. I did experiment with the stabilization modes in this flight however. This flight was done with "horizon leveling" turned on. I still saw all the twists and turns live in the goggles, but the final video was nice and level. If I was flying in Manual mode, instead of Sport or Normal modes, I wouldn't want that stabilization to be turned on.

Music from Epidemic Sound. DJI Avata Drone flown in normal & sport mode. No color adjustment made to the video.
