Colfax AoG Sunday Sermon Sept 04, 2022 - Depend on Miracles

We look at the second core value of our church. "Depend on Miracles". Why? Because our Faith Matters to God. God can do anything he wants, but the Bible records that when he was in his home town he could "only do a few miracles there because of their unbelief." We trust God for everything. When he calls us to do things that are hard, or impossible we step out in trust and watch what he will do. What do I do if I do not have enough love? I depend on Jesus for more! What do I do if I do not understand what to do next? I depend on Jesus to help me understand. What do I do if we do not have enough money? I don’t write a newsletter, I depend on Jesus for more. What if I am not anointed enough for certain things? I ask Jesus and depend on Him to give me everything that is good. I do not trust in myself at all. Philippians 3:3b (NLT) "We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort"
