This Sunday had many significant moments. A reading of Proverbs 8 on Wisdom. The Holy Spirit through many in the congregation. Constitution Day the day before that commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens. Our Nation was founded by all sorts of Men. Many have forgotten that the great awakening revival leaders like George Whitfield were some the strongest and most loved leaders in the war for independence. Then, finally the sermon.. an introductory look at God as a Covanent Making God.
