World-renowned British comedian John Cleese in a funny interview on UK radio. He discusses the current state of the world and how we as humans are expected to change s we grow older. Cleese talked about how as we grow oldr, we are expected to act as though we know it all. And while the wise man or woman do come along, but not very often. While the functional adult is pretty much the accepted norm. And then the childlike adult who keeps their sense of fun, of excitement and wonder.

Those people who throughout their life maintain the element of fun and childlike humour throughout their lives. They are the people who have the full range of personality that tends to disappear when you are old and dignified and pompous. Those are the people who maintain their joy and wonderment n life that many others simply choose to leave behind. Something neither he nor his wife decided to do.
