However, Dave is also a well-read and intelligent person who has a very good overall understanding of what is going on in the Ukraine conflict and how it first came about. While the western media would like us all to think that the attack by Putin was totally unprovoked have very little knowledge of the history of this region.

Smith breaks down in great detail how exactly the war came to pass. How in the build-up for the past several years Putin was warning about what was happening in the Eastern part of Ukraine in the Donbas region. He talks about how even though agreements were wigned that they would not! NATO has repeatedly moved further eastward and is now right up to Russia's borders. So this conflict has been a long time in the making and the western powers are very much at fault for it getting to this stage.
