Day 244 of Let's Read the Bible - 1 Samuel 8, Job 15, Malachi 4

Today we read about Israel asking for a king and Samuel asking the Lord about it. The Lord tells Samuel that it is God they are refusing, not Samuel. Eliphaz speaks to Job about how much greater God is than any person. He tells Job his endeavor in making his case to God is pointless and unintelligent. Malachi completes his prophecy with God judging the evil people and maintaining His covenant with the faithful.
