Waterfalls are one of my most favourite things among all of the amazingly beautiful nature ... it is the gift of God to humankind and nature’s best stress-relievers.
Different theories have come up in regards to the importance of waterfalls to the health of human, on why we sleep or why we feel relaxed when we are near water bodies like waterfalls, rivers, lakes and oceans. Waterfalls create calmness from the negative ions released from the flow of water. Negative ions increases the flow of oxygen to the brain which improves mood and reduces stress and anxiety and depression.
The negative ions released by the waterfalls also help in purifying blood and so people can live a healthy life without having blood that is not clean, improves on the cell metabolism in the body and also enhances the immunity system of the human body.
The listening to the sound of running water also aids in diminishing depression, increases mental clarity, gives greater emotional stability and an overall sense of well-being.
Waterfalls are said to be one of the tourist attractions, all over the world. It’s hard to not look up at a waterfall and feel inspired, the power and the beauty always leave us mesmerised.
