The easiest way to paint sunflowers in watercolors – with step-by-step instructions!

Want to learn the easiest way to paint sunflowers in watercolor? Let's go through my process, step-by-step. This demonstration was taken from one of my live workshops recently.

The main takeaway I wanted to provide was to show you how to use wet-in-wet techniques to paint the flowers and objects to create soft and loose details.

I also show you how to use negative painting techniques by adding a dark background. This helps you to cut around the flowers to create contrast and extra vibrancy.
