Background setting

The time is set in the virtual year 2011. Nearly two decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russian radical Imran Zakayev, who wants to return the world to the Cold War era when the two superpowers confronted each other, has colluded with a warlord of a Middle Eastern country - the extreme religious and nationalist Khaled Alasad - to build a terrorist regime with Russian-made weapons and Islamic religious power that seriously threatens the peace and stability of the world, with a regular army and nuclear weapons .
