What the Hell Just Happened in DC on 6 January 2021?

For two years I've warned that we are headed toward civil war. Last week I warned that 2021 would be worse, not better than 2020. This week Trump supporters overran the Capitol! These events did not shock me. THIS IS WHAT CIVIL WAR LOOKS LIKE!
Forget condemnation! Forget Condoning the action! The question is why were those people there and what does it portend for our future?
What are the political forces at work that brought these people to DC? You can blame Trump if you wish, but he has always been a symptom of the problems, not the cause. If you realize that the forces driving these actions are Progressive policies--every political action has an equal and opposite reaction--then you perhaps ought to reassess those policies. But the Left has refused to do that since 2010. They ignored the Tea Party. They wrote off Trump. And now they are free to do these same with this "mob." But doing so will insure that such responses will only grow more numerous and violent. The Left can whine all, it wants about law and order, but they have done nothing for the past nine months but demonstrate that law and order means nothing! WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!
