New Zealand News - White Island Volcano Eruption

New Zealand White Island Volcano Eruption is ongoing, near the North Island, by the Bay of Plenty. On October 1, 2022, White Island Volcano's status was lowered to yellow. Yet, on October 7, 2022, the volcano started erupting.

Volcano Discovery and the Disaster Alert apps simultaneously reported the volcano eruption. It's been noted that the White Island Volcano is currently having explosive activity and warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose 3000 feet (900M) at altitude.

The previous White Island Eruption was a volcanic disaster, yet this time, there isn't a population within 18 miles of the volcano.

New Zealand Earthquakes and the Lake Taupo Volcano will be reviewed.

No damage or casualties have been reported.

Not sure if the global news covers this, but it should be considered global news. If not, it should be considered international news. These are a lot of earthquakes for a region to endure around volcanoes.
