Schools Hiding "Trans" Kids From Parents is Abusive

School districts around the country -- who states worth in fact -- are adopting "affirmation-only" policies when it comes to children who self-identify as "trans" at school. They're doing this all while we're seeing record increases in numbers of children doing exactly that, AFTER being taught about "gender" as a "social construct" by teachers who also ask them what their pronouns are.

Parents who question all this, even parents who are fully supportive of trans-identifying adult, are often called "bigots," and treated as outsiders, and official policy at these schools is to HIDE the "trans" identified kid's new "identity" from their own parents. When asked why they do this, schools will usually say it's to protect the child's privacy from the parents, and to protect the child from potential abuse. Apparently they assumption is, if the child doesn't want their parents told, it has nothing to do with the teacher OFFERING to hide their identity (and thereby suggesting their parents won't like it), and is instead a reflection of an oppressive abusive household.

What's odd about this is, teachers and school employees are ALL mandatory reporters. If they really cared about abuse, wouldn't they initiate investigations? Instead, they deny the child (going through what even they admit is a challenging time in their lives) the love and support of their parents, which in itself IS ABUSIVE.
