Canada: Federal govt. to lift work limit for international students – October 7, 2022

At a news conference in Ottawa, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announces that the federal government will temporarily lift its work limit for international students in an effort to address labour shortages. From November 15 to the end of the year, a previous limit of 20 hours per week that international students were allowed to work off campus will no longer apply. Fraser is joined by his parliamentary secretary Marie-France Lalonde.
