Kitbashing a Yak-11 into Czech Mate - DIY Reno Racer

This is a project I started quite a while ago to transform the @HobbyKing Yak-11 into Czech Mate. Following the move, this is the first project on the bench and first of a couple build videos of the conversion process. So, in this video, we cover the entire conversion process using Depron to build the necessary features to turn the stock HK Yak-11 into the Czech Mate Reno Racer which had a taller tail and formula one style low profile canopy. Please note that Sherman Smoot and his Czech Mate aircraft were lost on September 2, 2022. I debated whether to even continue with this series in light of that, but wanted to see it through in honor of Sherm and the Czech Mate team. #RenoRacer #scalemodel #kitbash
