Information filed 10/6/22.

Here's the "statement of offense"

Also, he wasn't even "indicted". They used something called "Information" instead. Whatever that means.

Pleading guilty to Sedition is NOT a "deal". The potential sentence (entirely up to the judge's discretion) is maybe the most severe possible. Prosecutors can't guarantee a softer punishment. Why would anyone do this?

The government keeps saying "encrypted" to make it sound sinister. They also hardly ever say that it's Telegram they're referring to.

On Telegram, by default, everything is technically "server-side" "encrypted". To create a truly "encrypted" (end-to-end) "chat" you need to use the "🔒 secret chat" feature.

This is technically NOT possible with a "group chat" - so what is the government even implying?

Maybe this is just a tactic to scare judges and juries who are not techies, and for MSM to use to bias the general population.
