What if it gives us an opportunity for a "great reset" of our own. Liberating people to have more individual freedom than ever before. The technology exists to give people more individual power than ever before.

The best preparations might be enabling yourself to weather the storm and "wait out" the collapse like a siege. That might be considered a robust plan, and I'd think a bunker mentality.
