A- Zinnia is a purpose built layer 1 for web3 applications. There is a lack of real web3 focused infrastructure projects that offer layer 1 capabilities and supporting functions like decentralized storage. Zinnia fits right into this niche.
Furthermore, we see a lot of strong layer 1 networks, but all work to solve the same issues of scalability and fees in similar ways. They do this by introducing layers of centralisation, which will ultimately negatively affect long term viability of the projects.
