Deaths related to breast cancer are falling in the United States, according to the latest report from the American Cancer Society. Researchers say fatal breast cancer cases decreased by 43 percent from 1989 through 2020, despite the number of cases going up slightly. That breaks down to nearly half-a-million fewer deaths from the disease in that time frame.
