Do you always feel uncomfortable in your squat? One factor in finding ideal squat stance is understanding your anatomy. A simple way you can screen your anatomy to see if you fit one of the extreme variations (anteversion and retroversion) is to test internal & external rotation in both seated & prone (on stomach). If you show a big variation of extreme in one direction and very limited in another in Both positions - it’s a sign of anatomical variation.
