Irelands Clare Daly Ukraine war speech at European Union October 5th 2022

As the war in Ukraine escalates into a wider horror, practically nobody in the #EU is doing anything to prevent it. And at this exact moment, out come the vicious, scapegoating slurs against those who speak up for peace: "cronies," "puppets," "stooges," "agents."

Opposing the horrible madness of war is not "anti-European." It's not "anti-Ukrainian." It's not "pro-Russian."

It's common sense.
