The Beast of Stronsay

In September 1808 the body of a large Sea Creature was found on the coast of the Island of Stronsay, in the Orkney Islands (Off North Scotland). The body was examined, measured and sketched and the best natural scientists in Scotland and other credible eye-witnesses attested to this being the body of a "sea serpent". In this episode we will take a look at the recording of that body, and an account from a few weeks earlier (from Inner Hebrides) of a sighting of the same (or a similar) creature by a Minister.
