In the previous video I discussed the most popular mechanical engineering concentrations. Outside of those main one's though, the concentrations aren't as well defined at every university. I grouped together some large topics within mechanical engineering and explained those in more detail including mechanics, structures, energy, and power.

Mechanics and structures is all about analyzing the forces throughout objects and structures, seeing why structures fail, and optimizing the structure of something. This field is for those who want to work on buildings, aircrafts, spacecrafts, boats, and so on to make them structurally stable.

Power and energy includes solar energy, wind energy, fossil fuels, fuel cells, and more. This topic is for students who want to help create efficient energy methods and provide power for various purposes.

Overall don't focus too much on which subfield of mechanical engineering is best for you, but really try to decide whether the major as a whole is what you want to go into. Once you are in the major itself you will be able to decide which career in mechanical engineering best suits you after you get more exposure.
