The spectacular video was recorded in the Bay of Biscay which is at its lowest point more than 4730 meters (+15,000 feet) deep and famous for its though and dangerous weather conditions during the winter months, reportedly causing several incidents of merchant ships loosing direction in storms. The large vessel is being swept like a small boat form one side to another in very long, deep swell and partially huge monster waves hitting it from the side (also checkout part 1). After the storm the crew actually noticed multiple holes in the hull of the ship – it's a miracle that the ship didn't sink! The water flooded nearly the whole ship including the converter room as well as a paint locker room which caused a huge mess when the water mixed with the paint. The motor got dismantled because it was heavily damaged by the water and the paint.
