Does Tulsi Gabbard Want U.S., Israel, India, Assad to Work Together Against Moderate Muslims

I provide my own libertarian perspective on Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's position on the draft. I also show some criticism of her by others, including a Marxist critique of her ties to Syria's Bashar al-Assad and India's Nahendra Modi, and a progressive critique of her position on Syria. Additionally, I provide video of Tulsi Gabbard's address to the right-wing Christians United for Israel Conference in 2015.

It is worth noting that Gabbard's enthusiastic support of the use of the phrase "radical Islam" has been criticized. I believe that this associates Islam with violence and extremism unjustly, and I do not buy Gabbard's argument that extreme interpretations of Islamic ideology is always a bad thing, or always what should be fighting.

If 1993 World Trade Center attack terrorist Ramzi Yousef had been more devoutly Muslim, then he would have resisted the F.B.I..'s attempts to ply him with alcohol and strippers into carrying out the attacks.

Islam has plenty of good things about it, and being extreme for those principles is good, even if the religion has problems (as all religions do).
